Mission
Statement
My mission statement comes from Ephesians 5:1-2, 8, 10, which says,
"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a
life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a
fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. For you were once darkness, but
now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light and find out what
pleases the Lord." A
Christian Teacher C
is for caring and loving each day.
H is for helping and
showing the way.
R is for relating in love
with each one.
I is for insisting
that work be done.
S is for setting the rules
we all need.
T is for teaching in word
and in deed.
I is for intending
to help, not hurt.
A is for practicing how to
assert.
N is for noticing good that's in
each. Christian's the
name that I wear as I teach. Faith
and Learning Statement
Language is a gift from God. Through the written word we will learn to
bring praises to His name. In studying grammar, reading, writing, and
spelling, we learn how God has given everyone special gifts, and I hope to
discover these gifts in my students.
God
created language for us to use and to enjoy. It is a way for us to
communicate with each other and with God, and it is a way for us to spread
the Gospel of Christ.
I will
celebrate each child's uniqueness. Each student learns differently, and I
hope to embrace their learning styles and develop their special gifts and
talents.
My
goal is that each student will learn to be an imitator of God and to live
as a child of light. We are put on this Earth to be Christian witnesses,
and I hope to be a good role model for my students. Having a Christian
education means being prepared to go out into the world to witness for
Christ. I hope that when our students leave Beaverdam Christian School,
they feel that they have been given the best education possible, and that
they are ready to be effective witnesses of Christ's love and atonement
for us. Links www.nascar.com
