FAITH AND LEARNING STATEMENT As we teach Bible, the children will know the Bible as God’s Word, and will hopefully make a commitment to love, obey, and serve Christ. This educational process will enhance their spiritual growth and development and help them to become better citizens in God’s kingdom. In Language Arts classes, our students will realize that language is a special gift from God through writing, speaking, listening, and reading. we hope to develop in them a life-long commitment to reading. The children will realize God’s ordered creation through the patterns and principle of Math as they learn to solve problems and apply these skills in every day life. In Science, we will examine, explore, and learn about God's awesome creation. We will learn about our responsibilities towards God's creation believing fully that “…the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.” Psalm 24:1 God created us to be in relationship with Him and His people. In Social Studies the children will develop an understanding of their community, as well as, other cultures. The students will learn about the geographical differences God has formed. We will also learn about and practice our role as citizens in our school community, city, state, country, and world.
