Our goal at Beaverdam
Christian School is to help each child grow and develop in a Christian atmosphere,
for each child to recognize that all of creation belongs to God, and that
our task must be to selflessly care for the environmental, physical, and
spiritual needs of the earth and its people.
Goals of Beaverdam Christian School:
1. All instruction be centered on the work of God.
2. The school must teach the student that he has been placed in a relationship
to God and to others, and that as a consequence, the dominant theme of his
life must be to serve rather than to be served. If our students learn
this, all members of the school community must practice Christian service,
for when each does not contribute fully, the whole community suffers.
3. Each child knows that he is special in God's sight and that He cares
for them.
4. The school must cultivate in the student the ability to judge and to
commit himself to what is good, true, and important in life.
5. The school will nurture in each child their God-given talents, whether
they be scholastic, athletic, artistic, or musical.
6. We teach our students that all of their studying constitutes first of
all a religious response to God.
7. Our children learn that problems, whether great or small, can be resolved
through prayer.
