Faith means being sure of the things we hope for. And faith means knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. Hebrews 11:1 April Color Yellow Shape Rectangle Spring is finally here!! We even have a brighter color this month. We also have a lot of spring activities planned. During our first week we are going to go way back in time and look at the dinosaurs. The next week will be spring break. When we come back we are going to look at spring weather and spring planting. We will adopt a tree on our school year and watch its growth for the rest of the year. During our third week we will see how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. We ware also going on a field trip this week. We a re not sure where or any of the details yet, so we will give details later. In our last week we are going to make a very special gift for a very special someone. We are going to be doing one on one evaluations this week. During this time the children will be doing several different stations focusing on different learning aspects. We will continue meeting our zoo friends, by the end of the month we will almost have met them all. Our Bible stories will focus on some of Jesus' teachings, such as the Lord's prayer, the Parable of the Seed, being Fishers of Men and Also Ascension and Pentecost. We have a lot of activities planned of all of the above. Remember to wear yellow on Tuesdays and to bring show and tells on Thursday. Also remember to ask any questions or express any concerns that you may have. God Bless CALENDAR: April 1-Today we will meet vV vincent vampire bat. We are going to go back in time and look at the dinosaurs. we will make our own dinosaur. dig for some dinosaur bones a. And have a dinosaur egg hunt. Along with much more. Snack: Jennifer Ten Harmsel April 3-We are going to see what a volcano can do today. Because dinosaurs and try not to fall into the swamp. Birthday: Logan Snack: Robin Lubbers April 8&10- SPRING BREAK-NO SCHOOL April 15-wW willie weasel is our friend this week. Spring is here and we are going to look at spring weather. We are going to adopt a tree and watch how it blossoms. We will see how a tornado works. Also make some fun weather machines. 1/2 Birthday: Shelby Snack: Pam Ulven April 17-We are going to learn about planting in the spring today. We will plant a surprise see. Make a flower for our hallway. we will also be introduced to our growing caterpillar. 1/2 Birthday: Chloe Snack: Nicole DeWitt April 22-Today we are going to see how a butterfly becomes a caterpillar. We will make our own butterfly and caterpillar. We will also meet xX xavier fox. Snack: Mary Steenwyk April 24-Today we are going on a field trip. However, we do not know where yet as of this time. Details will follow. April 29-Today we are going to make a special gift and invitation. we are also going to be doing evaluations and centers. yY yancy yak is our zoo friend this week. Snack: Carol VanKampen May 1-We are going to continue with centers and evaluations today. Snack: Laura Kuperus
